Hannong Hôtel & Wine Bar

Perfect location for exploring the old city and Christmas markets on foot, and we walked in from the train station. Outstanding staff, always available and helpful but wifi never worked in our room despite their efforts. We had Room 603, a large family room with lovely street view. Quiet with comfortable beds and excellent maid service. Separate tub and shower in bathroom, with clawfoot tub. We were given our choice between two family rooms and took the larger one. The other was noticeably smaller and had we been placed there would not have considered it worth the price. It was just two of us, adults, but we were there for 8 nights and wanted some space, have learned that standard older European hotel rooms are small. A coffeemaker in the room would have been nice but free coffee and pastries were available off the lobby. Overall a good experience and highly recommended for location.

Nice 4 star hotel. We had a particularly large room on the 6th floor, with a large bathroom. Very handy to many restaurants and bistros. The wine bar outside area on the 1st floor is nice and the friendly waiter gave us a three glass (each) wine tasting for two for €28. We also had a good selection of meats & cheeses for two for €22. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly (and spoke good English!). Recommend.
